Recipe Name Creamy Mushroom and Chicken Pasta
Recipe Instruction:
A creamy pasta sauce is very comforting. Use Dairy Whip® Lite Whipped Cream and your pasta sauce will also be much lower in fat.

500 g penne pasta
1 leek, thinly sliced
2 (700 g) large chicken breast fillets, cut into strips
1 cup tomato pasta sauce
100 g mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 cups Dairy Whip® Lite Whipped Cream

Method:

  • Cook pasta in plenty of boiling water until al-dente and keep warm.
  • Cook leek in a non-stick fry pan until soft.
  • Add chicken and cook until browned.
  • Pour over tomato pasta sauce and add mushrooms and simmer until chicken is cooked through.
  • Stir in Dairy Whip® Lite Whipped Cream.
  • Toss pasta through sauce and heat through.
  • Serves 6
